Refer your clients.
We do the rest.
If you work with adults who need English — housing associations, job centres, community organisations, charities — we make it simple to refer them into free, online ESOL provision. No contract. No cost to you.
Who we work with
We partner with organisations who reach people we can help
Housing Associations
Your tenants on waiting lists for ESOL. We provide flexible, online provision they can access from home.
Jobcentre Plus
UC claimants who need English to meet conditionality. We provide UC-integrated curriculum and attendance evidence.
Community Organisations
Refugee support, community centres, faith groups, food banks — wherever you meet people who need English.
Health & Social Care
NHS teams, social workers, GP surgeries — refer patients and service users who struggle with English communication.
💷 JCP Flexible Support Fund — speak to us about referral funding options.
If you are a Job Centre or Work Coach, you can fund learner places through the Flexible Support Fund at — no contract required, no minimum numbers. This is already used by providers across Greater Manchester to fund ESOL provision for UC claimants. Speak to us about how to set this up.
Your clients are on waiting lists.
We are not.
Every mainstream ESOL provider in Greater Manchester runs on a September–July academic calendar. Waiting lists of 6–12 months are the norm. Your clients can’t wait that long — and neither can their UC conditionality.
SLC CIC plans to operate rolling cohorts once live — meaning learners will not be tied to a fixed academic calendar. And because we’re fully online, there’s no travel barrier, no childcare problem, no venue to get to.
